The Story Of

Emily Schutz

Local & Destination

Photography Since 2016

Emily purchased her first DSLR camera at sixteen, though her love of photography had been growing since childhood. It was a trip through Europe that ignited her passion and set her on a more serious path. From that moment, she devoted herself to honing her craft and capturing people and their love through her lens. Photography holds deep personal significance for her. She is fortunate to have inherited a rich collection of family photos stretching back to the 1920s—a testament to her parents’ and their families’ understanding of how powerful it is to preserve memories through this art form. This treasured archive remains the inspiration for her creativity and the driving force behind her decision to build a photography business.

Where the art of heartfelt connections intertwines, creating timeless images that narrate your legacy.

With over ten years of experience, Emily provides an artful, skilled and calm presence for couples on their wedding day in Edmonton and beyond. Tailoring her approach to each couples unique vision and needs helps ensure a gallery full of meaningful and beautiful images. In additional to weddings, Emily loves following along all the important milestones of her clients’ lives and offers photo sessions to capture these moments, including engagement, maternity, newborn, family and boudoir..
